The Atlanta Sommelier Showdown reaches its final round at Le Bon Nosh in Buckhead on Tuesday, August 18. After advancing through the first two rounds, Matthew Welch of Piedmont Driving Club and Cait Hall of The Perlant will face off for the chance to win a $5,000 scholarship provided by our presenting partner, Fine Vintage LTD.

6 PM | Reception + Canapés

The evening begins with welcome drinks and passed canapés before guests take their seats for the Final Showdown and a four-course dinner from Chef Forough.

6:30 PM | Dinner + Showdown

With each course, our two finalists will present pairings selected from Le Bon Nosh’s full wine list. This is a little different than the other rounds, which featured wines only from our by-the-glass list.

We’re excited to reach a little deeper into our wine library to give each guest a rare chance to explore more of our Wine Spectator-recognized wine program one pairing at a time!

You taste. You vote.

As the judge, it’s your job to look at the full picture of the pairing. You’re voting for which wine best pairs with each bite, not just which wine you enjoy the most.

After each course, we will tally up your votes, and by the end of the night, the 2026 Atlanta Sommelier Showdown champion will be crowned!

Valet is parking is available for $7. Retail parking is available via The Irby garage entrance located on Irby Avenue, and complimentary 2-hour validation is provided. Limited metered street parking is also available along Irby Avenue and Paces Ferry Place.
