Join Le Bon Nosh & Etude Wines for a summer wine dinner, guided by esteemed Winemaker Jon Priest.

Etude Winery was founded in 1982 by Tony Soter and was named for the French word for study — his goal was to study and master the art of growing and crafting exceptional Pinot Noir. When Tony decided to go make Pinot Noir in Oregon, he sold the winery and hand-picked his successor in Jon Priest — that was in 2000, and Jon has led the winery ever since, making exceptional Pinot Noirs, plus Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

On Tuesday, June 9, Jon joins us in the dining room for an evening of conversation and wine education centered around the Etude portfolio, alongside a three-course menu from Chef Forough paired to each selection.

Passed Canapés Caviar & Crème Fraîche, Housemade Chips, Gougères | 2023 Etude Pinot Gris, Carneros

First Course: Tomato & Burrata Salad — shallots, basil oil, champagne vinaigrette, or Mushroom Tartine — wood-fired mushrooms, local chèvre, chimichurri, sourdough | 2023 Etude Chardonnay, Carneros

Second Course Duck Confit — puy lentils, lemongrass & carrot purée, kumquat, mixed greens or Braised Short Rib — café de Paris jus, glazed carrots, pearl onions, pomme purée | 2022 Etude Pinot Noir, Carneros & 2021 Etude Pinot Noir Fiddlestix, Sta Rita Hills

Third Course Cheese Plate — assorted local cheese and fruit | 2019 Etude Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
